Artist Statement

I created a Rudolph-themed bumper car using Arduino, FSR sensors, continuous motors, and a recycled Tropicana bottle as the chassis. When an object impacts Rudolph's nose—where the sensor is mounted—the car reverses and turns randomly. Though sensor sensitivity can be inconsistent, causing delayed responses, the project demonstrates how discarded materials can be repurposed creatively.
